Reseller kit

A one-page pitch, suggested pricing and rollout for selling this to your clients.

Everything below is yours to rebrand. Replace “Starboard” with your product name; your clients never see ours.

The pitch, in one page

Headline: More Google reviews, captured at the door — and a private heads-up when something went wrong.

How it works: your tech hands over a card at the door. The homeowner scans, taps a star, and either posts on Google or sends you a private note. Every rating is tied to the technician who earned it.

What you get: a review page per technician, a leaderboard, a private feedback inbox with call-back numbers, approved testimonials on your website, and a live report link you can open any time.

What it doesn't do: it doesn't text or email your customers, so there are no opt-ins, no consent forms and no messaging rules to worry about. It stacks on top of whatever your software already sends.

Suggested pricing

  • $99/month for a 2–5 truck company, as a line item. Treat $99 as the floor — below it your margin disappears.
  • $99–$149/month for 6–30 trucks, or fold it into a retainer of $1,000+ as the “reputation” deliverable.
  • Card design and printing are yours to price: some agencies charge a one-off setup fee for them, most fold it into a retainer. Starboard's platform fee does not change either way.

Rollout in a week

  1. Day 1: add the client, paste their Google link, send them the company link for their invoice email.
  2. Day 2: add technicians, download cards, order print.
  3. Day 5: cards arrive; five-minute huddle with the crew using the one-line ask.
  4. Week 2: show the leaderboard and the first private feedback. That meeting is where the renewal happens.

Objections you will hear

  • “Our software already asks for reviews.” Keep it. This captures the in-person moment and attributes it to the tech.
  • “Won't unhappy customers still go to Google?” They can — the link is always there, which is what keeps this compliant. The private box is an extra option beside it, not a detour.
  • “Do I have to manage anything?” No. Your report link shows everything read-only; we approve or hide testimonials for you from our dashboard, and the text is never edited.

Keep the report link private

The client report link shows private feedback, including call-back numbers. Send it directly to the owner and regenerate it from Widget & links if it is forwarded too widely.
